The Island of Sodor
So, I finally sat down with Tayden, after days of asking, (him asking me, by the way) to play with his trains with him. Well, watch out! Because if I'm going to play, we are going to go all out. So his simple track turned into the Island of Sodor. I must say, I'm very proud of it.

Too Much Snow....
Well, Michigan may be struggling with employment, but there is one group of people that have been able to keep their jobs. The "snow plow guys" (I don't know their official title.) We took this picture 3 days ago, and it hasn't stop snowing even since then! Seth can hardly keep up with the driveway. We finally got our subdivision plowed, thankfully, so now I don't have to pray every time I leave the house that I can make it to the end of my street. But it does make me grateful for a warm and cozy house!

MEGA Post!
This is a major catch up post. I know they all seem like that, so don't feel the need to read, it's mostly for journal purposes, but enjoy if you would like! It's going to be picture overload too because as I went through, it was harder than I thought to pick and choose!
This first set of pictures is a tribute to our HERO! Dad is so awesome. We had a game night and we couldn't all agree, so this is Dad playing three games at once. And yes, he is wearing a necklace and a crown on his head. It's worth a closer look because he is also wearing an earring! He played Princess Dress Up Game with Kaylee, Scrabble with Karyna and Tyler (and me) and Diego Rescue (and dinosaurs) with Tayden. Crazy thing is, I think he won all three games.
Second, we had the chance to go to Utah this past Holiday and here are the kids on the plane. They were so good!
This is what our weather looked like while we waited for the plane to come in to Minneapolis. All weather reports indicated we would have problems, but we got there and back without trouble or long delays! We really were blessed with a safe travel on this trip.
Once we got there, we were able to enjoy Nathan's wedding. This is a picture Kaylee took of the happy couple at the dinner. Once again, the weather held out to allow for everyone to get there. It was a great evening!
Sledding with Dad, Grandpa, and Laura!
Finally... Christmas!
Here the kids are posing in their new pajamas Christmas Eve.
I won't bore with all the Christmas pictures, but this is what Tayden was doing while all the kids were going crazy Christmas morning. But unfortunately for them, we don't start until everyone is awake, and I wasn't about to wake him!
And lastly, a few tidbits of information:
Karyna donated her hair and came out looking like this! So cute.
Demolition Day! Look at his determined face. We are re-doing the family room and replacing the tile on the fireplace.
Tyler finally lost his other front tooth. What a smile!
