THE LAUNDRY
Yesterday, Seth asked Tayden to help with the laundry by putting the stuff from the washer into the dryer. He then showed him how to turn it on and start it. So later that day he asked Tayden to help again, but he didn't know that all the laundry had already been dryed.
So a couple of minutes later he comes out saying, "It's not working!" I asked what wasn't working and he said, "the laundry".
Confused, because there wasn't anything in the washer to move, I went in to take a look. He had moved the stuff from the dryer back into the washer and turned it on! The washer works different and takes a minute to spin so he thought it wasn't working, but he got it working enough to soak all the clean clothes. So the good news for him was that in another half an hour, he was allowed to put more clothes in the dryer!
THE LADYBUG
(narrated by Seth)
This morning Tayden came out of the bathroom after trying to puke. He looked really sad. Looking at the floor, he said, "I flushed the lady bug down the toilet and I didn't want to. Karyna put it in the toilet and I wanted to get it out, but I had to flush the toilet." He was really concerned.
I consoled, "It's okay, he's in lady bug heaven now."
"No it's not", he argued.
"Well where is he then?", I asked curiously.
In all seriousness, he looked up and said sadly, "With the poop."

A Whole New World
Scouting has been introduced into our family and it's all new to me. But we are enjoying it thus far! Our Blue and Gold Banquet was last night. Here's the cake we made for the contest.
And this is Tyler's getting ready for the "Nose Car Race"
Overall it was a fun night. Tyler received his Bobcat and is now an official Wolf!

Random Catching Up
So I take pictures with the intention of posting things, but then they never get posted. So here are the things I found picture worthy but was too lazy to post.
In honor of Dr. Seuss' Birthday (and for Kaylee's homework) we had Green Eggs and Ham (and Sausage for those who "Do NOT like ham, Sam I am") a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't sure if the kids would actually eat it, but they did!
It is all we do anymore. But this latest project is quite impressive. Tayden took a regular bed and made it into a three person bunk bed for his "person", Tyler's "person", and Kaylee's "person".
And this is a very macho and strong Tayden. Too cute not to post!
