I know there were actual animals at the zoo, but these animals are way more interesting to look at:

I loved this picture. Tayden spent forever playing with this little elephant statue. He just thought it was so cool.
We followed this peacock around for a while and it finally opened its tail for us. Then it just stood there for about 10 minutes while everyone took pictures. I swear he was posing for the camera like a good peacock should!
And these are just some cute shots of the kids.
I took this one because of Tayden's comment. He said, "Mom, look, those lions have bums too!"

we were wanting to go there soon...it looks like fun...is it a good zoo worth going to? yes, those little animals are MUCH more interesting than any animals i've ever seen at the zoo...

Carrie, are you feeling any better? I need to call and check on you. The pictures are great and it looks like a nice zoo. Glad the kids had such a good time.
The zoo is about 45 minutes away and yes it was worth going to. Jean, we got a pass, so we should definitely plan to go together, so I can feel justified in getting the pass!
Fun! We love the zoo. And those are such fun pictures.
LOOK AT ALL THOSE MONKEYS! I love the Detroit Zoo. I love the Potter Park Zoo too. It is a little bit smaller, and easier to walk from one end to the other.
