We have been super busy lately. So busy, I haven't had time to blog. So here is one big SUPER post to catch up.
First of all, I got to go on a field trip with Karyna and we went to an old schoolhouse. The kids were supposed to dress up like that time period and tour the grounds. They also got to go into the schoolhouse and spend an hour playing school like they would have back in the "old days". Everyone played the part, including the teacher with her stick and dunce cap. It was really enjoyable spending the day with Karyna.
Karyna also just finished her Dream Girls play. It was so good. She had a couple solos and I was so proud of her for singing in front of such a big audience. DVD coming soon!
Lastly, we just went camping at Silver Lake near Lake Michigan. The kids had a great time. Tayden's favorite part was the light house, but he was really upset that they wouldn't let him go up one more level. He thought he was big enough and should get to go where the light was, but they didn't let us up there. There was plenty to do, though. The kids got to do some racing in their own car. By this point, Tayden was pretty wiped out, explaining his tired face, but he actually loved going fast. Somehow I missed getting a picture of Karyna. Oops! I also didn't get pictures of the sand dunes, but a friend did, so they will come later. But we did go to the dunes. The kids had a great time playing in the biggest sand box in the world! As we were leaving we got to go on a dune buggy. Once again, Tayden loved going fast! It was a great weekend.

Way to go Karyna. I can't wait to hear her sing. I love that Tayden's favorite part was the lighthouse. You rock, Tayden. That's some camping trip. I wish we had that pretty water, a lighthouse and some go carts to ride while we camped. We just fished and sat around a fire. It was still fun though. Glad to see pics, can't wait to see you guys soon.
Man you have been busy. I love that picture of Karyna in her Dream Girls outfit. She's so grown up. How many days until you leave? Come on, put a countdown up!
Those pictures remind me of Sturbridge Village, so many years ago. What a fun trip and I do like the lighthouse. Hey, there are great sand dunes near Delta. Let's go.
