Setting the Record Straight!

So, I'm here to tell everyone the truth about Swine Flu. Now this is a study done with a population size of 7. So maybe I don't know everything, but I do know that my entire family probably had it and actually lived to tell about it. So here's what I know:

1. It spreads easily!
2. You probably won't die.
3. The number of symptoms are endless and everyone will have a different set of them.
4. The flu itself seems to go away pretty quickly, but the coughing tends to hang
on...and on... and on.
5. It sucks!

So we had a pretty rough weekend. My biggest concern, of course, was my little Trevyn. His fever got up to 103 in the middle of the night. We were able to get it down pretty quickly, but I took him in the next day. You would think we had entered the maximum security section of some top secret military unit. Face masks and plastic coats were being wore by all the staff. I wanted to say, "Oh, I see you were expecting us!" They don't swab you unless you are admitted to the hospital. I opted for a best guess. But she said we probably all have it. Yeah for us! The good news is, I can probably stop worrying about getting it.

So, here is a screen shot of my calendar for Sunday thru Tuesday. I found that I was losing track of when I gave what kid what medicine, so this is how I kept track.

That's alot of Tylenol, eh?

But I think we are mostly better. We still have some coughing, but I'm pretty sure the flu is gone (crossing my fingers). But most importantly we have our smiley Trevyn back!

Dang, rough week! Sorry to hear, but glad you are heading up hill. I am considering the vaccine for the kids...not usually a fan, but I might this time. Trevyn is too cute!

Thanks for the info. Glad we're getting it from real people instead of from the media who seem bound and determined to make it a bigger deal than it is, instead of focusing on the REAL issues. And I'm glad you're not all dead. (Okay, I'll get off my soap box now.)
PS: Love the calendar. Good idea.
