The kids have been obsessed lately with the show Cake Boss. They make extreme cakes and it really is pretty cool. So after that and seeing this blog post, I decided to let then try some things out. So for Family Home Evening I made some cupcakes and some fondant, bought some candies and told them to make whatever they felt like. They had so much fun, and I think we got some pretty awesome cupcakes out of it. See if you can find a pie, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, alligator in water, popcorn, and a flower!
And then for Easter I saw this on the same blog as the cupcakes and thought we'd try something new. How cool are these eggs?

Kya and I LOVE Cake Boss...Carl and I tried to go to the bakery in New Jersey, but we weren't able to make it happen. Great cupcakes.
